Life Changing Walking Program
This is a walking program designed to change your life. If you stick with the program to the end, you will be strong and at the proper weight for you. Although you will continue to eat healthy food, you will no longer have to worry about counting calories. Your metabolism will be revved all the time. You will be super healthy.
If you haven’t been exercising, begin at level one. Level one is for the super-inactive or very overweight.
If you have been exercising, pick the level which matches the amount of exercise that you are currently doing. Start on that level, then proceed through the program.
Stick with each level for one month. That will give your muscles and joints time to build strength before increasing the amount and intensity of activity.
At the end of each level, assay your fitness. Are you feeling that you have become comfortable with that level of activity? Repeat any level if you don’t feel ready to go to the next.
Pick one day each week to rest--don’t walk at all that day. If you miss a day of walking, don’t worry about it. If you miss more than 3 days, repeat that week.
The Beginner's Walking Program
is Level One through Level Three. It is designed for the inactive or the yoyo exerciser, those on-again-off-again exercisers. You are a beginner until you are walking 30 minutes, twice a day at a moderate pace and walking at least 4 days each week.
Then you move to the
Intemediate Program,
Levels 4 and 5. You will increase both duration and intensity of your walks. Here you will notice positive changes in your body and you psyche.
The Advanced Program
is where your turn that walk into a fat blasting workout. That's right. You are going to do your muscle building as you walk!
A note about sticking to your Walking Program:
Get a good-looking walking outfit to wear. Buy some good running shoes such as Nike or New Balance or one of the other major brands. If you get discouraged, visualize you new ideal body as you walk. See yourself walking down the street with heads turning to look at you.
Ready to begin?
Now, go get 'um, Tiger.
